Kutna Hora Tour
Approximately
35 miles East of Prague you can visit an ancient silver mining town,
renowned for the Prague groschen coin, which was minted there. The landmark
of the former Royal town is the monumental St. Barbara cathedral. A direct
witness to the mining glory of Kutná Hora is the so called Italian
Court. Not to be missed is the ossuary, where human bones are arranged
into various piles and even sculpture of sorts. Kutná Hora was
declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is thus protected. Duration
of the tour is 5 hours.
